Cape Fear: Situated in a rural area east of the Cape Fear River. Douglas Byrd: Located in a busy, retail section of town, many homes in this area were built in the '50s and '60s, with newer communities being developed along Cumberland Road between Hope Mills & Own Drive. E.E. Smith: Includes Fort Bragg and a section of center Cumberland County, with homes that range from modest to upper middle class. Gray's Creek: The county's newest high school, built to serve the growing population in southern Cumberland County. Jack Britt: Opened in 2000, It's located in the busy Hope Mills area in the western part of the county. Pine Forest: Located in North Fayetteville, another growing part of town. The recent opening of the Outer Loop has added traffic to the area. Ascot, Braxton Hills, Brettonwood Hills, College Downs, Ellerslie, King's Grant, Kinwood, Manchester Forest, River Field, Tiffany Pines Seventy First: Located in the west end of the county on Raeford Road close to the Hoke County line. South View: Located in the southern part of the county, mainly for students living in Hope Mills & Gray's Creek. Terry Sanford: Located in Haymount, one of the oldest areas of Fayetteville surrounded by charming homes with small town atmosphere. Belmont, Briarwood Hills, Buckhead, Edenroc, Greenwood Homes, Jack’s Ford, Kingsford, Tallywood, VanStory Hills Westover: Smaller than many others districts where most students live close enough to walk to school.
